Our Cattle
Galloways are perfect for our Northern Wisconsin farm. Galloways have a double hair coat, which keeps them nice and warm in the cold and snowy winters we have. During the winter they are fed hay that we make locally. Our cattle spend their summers on our lush green pasture. We practice management intensive grazing with multiple species. At the present time, we have Katahdin sheep and a few Morgan horses to help utilize the pastures fully. All our animals are raised naturally with no hormones or implants. We do vaccinate against common diseases as we feel that it would be inhumane not to. Our beef animals are finished on grass, which is completely different from the beef that you get at any grocery store. Those animals are generally finished on corn or concentrates, and force-fed antibiotics in huge feedlots. We are proud that our animals are born on grass and spend their entire lives on our farm in our pastures. Feel free to contact us about our farm and our products. We have registered Galloway breeding stock available.
